Other Info
Join guides Miptoon (Anthony Chegahno) and Esme Batten on a quest for all of the wonderful things that spring can offer from birds, and trees, to beautiful spring wildflowers.

Location: Shining Rainbow Deer Nature Sanctuary. We will meet at the Crane Lake Picnic Area (where there are washroom facilities) and carpool from there. Note that there are no washroom facilities at the property, and nowhere to purchase lunch etc. Here is a map of where the picnic area is, it is just south of Johnson’s Harbour Road on the east side of the highway. The Shining Rainbow Deer property is off of Cape Hurd Road and there is room for two vehicles to park in the lot. I have a van and can take four additional people.

For those coming from the Owen Sound area, carpooling form Springmount Tourist office can work with a departure from there. by 8:45 -8:55AM If interested in carpooling, confirm with John at jwdickso@gmail.com

Limit: 12
Start Time: 10:00am
End Time: 2:00pm with a break for lunch. Everyone should bring a lunch for the day.
