Donating to the Owen Sound Field Naturalists
Contributions to the OSFN may be directed to three different branches of activity. If no preference is indicated donations are directed toward LEAF as our primary activities are supported through this fund.
LEAF: The Local Education and Action Fund promotes and fosters learning about nature through our ongoing programs and sponsorships. LEAF supports a wide variety of activities, including our Young Naturalists Program, stewardship of many natural heritage properties in Grey Bruce Counties, interpretive signage, special events, presentations by knowledgeable speakers and outdoor excursions with experienced leaders.
LBCF: The Lorraine Brown Conservation Fund is intended for the acquisition of natural heritage properties in Grey and Bruce Counties, either by the OSFN directly or by supporting other agencies who aim to preserve natural areas. Funds from LBCF may also be employed for building and maintaining infrastructure that allows or improves access to, and interpretation of, the natural environment.
NN: The NeighbourWoods North fund supports a group of volunteers who organize naturalized tree planting projects in the Owen Sound area.
Donations can be made at meetings or through CanadaHelps.
Your support is greatly appreciated!
