THE GENTLE BEE
Join local apiarist, Richard Elzby, a retired chemist and environmental
engineer, as he shares his knowledge and concern for honeybees and
pollinators – insects, which are at the very forefront of local as well as
international news! The impact of corporate produced insecticides and
pesticides are causing a ripple effect that may totally destroy pollinators
and lead to shortages not only of honey but also of more than 35% of
what we eat. Learn what is being done to stem the tide of huge losses of
honeybees and what you can do about the situation we are facing.
