Other Info | Paul Aird showcases the art and legacy of Thoreau MacDonald (1901-1989), a foremost Canadian naturalist and artist with a strong connection to the FON (now Ontario Nature). Son of Group of Seven member J.E.H. MacDonald, Thoreau was Canadian's premier pen and ink nature artist. Paul Aird chose Thoreau's fine, distinctive line drawings to illustrate Loon Laughter, his bestselling book of nature fables. Paul reads some fables coupled with Thoreau's drawings. All ages welcome. ![]() ![]() |
