Other Info | Join George as he shares his dream field trip with his son Mark to Alaska in June 2011 where he photographed breeding birds, their nests and eggs. For George this represents the final location in North America north of Mexico not previously visited, and a continuation of a lifetime of study and photography of the nesting (nidiology) of North American birds. This trip netted 26 life birds, 51 species photographed, and 30 species' nest and eggs photographed. Habitats, mammals and some plants were noted. George’s Presentation will be followed by the Annual General Meeting You can still donate to the Conservation Trust Fund of the Owen Sound Field Naturalists in memory of Lorraine Brown. Donation cards will be available at the March meeting. |
