The asters, goldenrods and fleabanes found in Bruce and Grey counties represent approximately 40% of the asters, 45% of the goldenrods and 25% of the fleabanes present in Ontario. Anecdotal information as well as a systematic description of each plant and its habitat, accompanied by drawings are included. New photographs show the entire plant and close up images of the diagnostic details. A chart of the approximate flowering times for these plants has been added to the 2nd edition.
