DESCRIPTION:To help out the Christmas Bird Counts in your area\, please ensure that your feeders are full during the Christmas Bird Count season\, especially on and before the count day in your area and if your feeders are on a side of your house that can be seen from the road. OR\, you may want to participate as part of a team during the count. This is a great way to get to know others who enjoy birds. Here is a list of the local Christmas Bird Counts and their organizers. Get connected. Christmas Bird Counts have been running since 1900 making this Citizen Science program 125 years old!
