In this presentation\, we will follow the ripples of this event across the face of our earth. \nAbout Dan Ostler: \n \nDan Ostler graduated in Biophysics from the University of Waterloo and pursued a career in medical radiation physics. DESCRIPTION:We are also pleased to announce that tickets (only $5. each) are available right away\, for Earth Day – 2PM Sunday April 22\, 2018\,  featuring the Keynote Address by Adam Shoalts – Author\, Naturalist and Explorer – on board the newly renovated MS Chi-Cheemaun.\nCelebrating Earth Day and his love for Nature\, Adam Shoalts will present “Alone Across Canada’s Arctic: A 4\,000 km journey through Canada’s Northern Wilderness.” Shoalts’ congenial personality and insatiable curiosity have made him a popular speaker\, who is looking forward to his return to Owen Sound\, where he hopes to join in other Earth Day activities while he is here next Spring. \nThis event is made possible by the kind hospitality of the Owen Sound Transportation Company\, (OSTC)\, and the generous sponsorship of Caframo. Tickets will be available at OSFN Club meetings\, at the Ginger Press (along with Adam Shoalts’ books) and the office of OSTC at Springmount\, plus at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market.
