Annual General Meeting and “Birding different habitats in the Beaver Valley” with David Turner

June 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

The Annual General Meeting of the Owen Sound Field Naturalists will go ahead using a Zoom format due to Covid-19 restrictions.  Our Constitution requires that we hold the AGM within 6 months of the end of our business//financial year, December 31. We will be meeting those requirements.

The Annual General Meeting is being held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 starting at 7 pm.
Here are the OSFN Annual General Meeting reports.

Here are some important instructions.
1. In advance of the meeting day, please ensure you can use ZOOM on your computer.
2. Review the Annual General Meeting Reports.
3. If, before the day of the meeting, you are aware of any questions you would like to ask, or concerns you would like to have addressed, please forward them to directors@osfn.ca so that you are not missed.  Additional questions or comments may be brought forward during the meeting as need be. (Zoom does allow for some discussion, but depending on how many people are in attendance, it can be awkward.)
4.The Zoom link will be sent out to members and to any non-members who reply to this e-herald and would like to attend.  You will receive it by Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

Following the meeting we will enjoy a presentation.

This is a ZOOM webinar. Details of how to join will be sent out in an eHerald closer to the event. The webinar will be open at 6:45pm to sort any technical difficulties.

Didn’t receive an e-herald but would still like to participate? Please contact web@owensoundfieldnaturalists.ca with “Beaver Valley” in the subject line.

OSFN Indoor Meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Bayshore Community Centre, 1900 3rd Ave E Owen Sound. There are no Indoor Meetings in July and August. Please see the individual event listings below for more details.

We invite speakers with a wide range of expertise from Grey/Bruce and other parts of the province. These evenings are open to the public. The auditorium is open by 6:30. The meeting gets under way at 7:00, and may include brief announcements by other organizations as well as OSFN club activities, club business, social time, nature sightings and reports.

The club also offers a full schedule of outdoor activities during the year. Through these outings, members learn more about the birds, plants, mammals and geology of this part of Ontario. We also keep a protective eye on our precious natural areas.
