Hudsonian Godwit in West Perth Wetlands

The Bruce Birding Club travelled to the West Perth Wetlands in Mitchell .  The wetlands are know as an exceptional area for shorebirds. Todays October 5 outing provided an unexpected surprise as an Hudsonian Godwit was present.  A total of 10 shorebirds were seen including both Baird’s and White-rumped Sandpipers and Long-billed Dowitchers.
