The Ontario Government’s Green Energy Act: This Act is a worthy document; however this Act will trump Municipal and the Niagara Escarpment Plans with respect to the location of wind turbines. While CONE is not opposed to Wind Turbines they will have a very negative impact on what we have been working to protect for 30 years. Letters have been written to discourage third reading of this Act until proper mapping of wind resources is done to maximize wind

development and minimize environmental effects.
