There is still lots of room for this outing on a special property on the south end of Flesherton. Please register right away, if you can.

In addition to the birds already here including Baltimore Oriole, you will learn the history of experimental tree plantations by the Department of Lands and Forests, from Richard Bentham. The wetland and meadow at the back of the property also have a rich history of wildlife activity, including plants, where otters and mink have been observed, over the years.

Although the hike is set for 9AM to 11:30AM, those keen to do some early morning birding can arrive as early as 7AM.

Please register with John Burton.

There is lots of parking on the beautiful Bentham property, where drivers may enter either of the first two laneways south of the Grey Highlands School.
