Join Conservation Biologist Esme Batten from the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) on Sunday, June 18th for a full day of birding, botanizing, and herping while completing a Baseline Inventory of NCC’s Dwarf Lake Iris Reserve! We will be exploring the 52 acre property all day, and are guaranteed to see an amazing population of globally rare Dwarf Lake Iris, with the possibility of seeing other Species at Risk/Provincially rare plants, birds and snakes.

Please come prepared with a lunch, water, and appropriate clothing and footwear. We will likely be exploring the wetland community so bring comfortable rubber boots if you have some.

Limit: 12 people
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Location: Parking area at the corner of Highway #6 and Dyers Bay Road
Bring: lunch, rubber boots or waterproof footwear, water, sunscreen, binoculars, field guides, etc
