BLACK BEARS ON THE BRUCE PENINSULA
The Northern Bruce Peninsula contains significant amounts of
uninterrupted forest - which makes a great ecosystem to enable the
black bear, to make a home here. Black bears are smaller than their
grizzly and polar cousins weighing anywhere from 100 to over 250
kilograms. They eat anything that is available so remember: "IF YOU
FEED A BEAR - YOU KILL HIM."
